Solar Power Is Up and Running
We are happy to update you on the installation of solar panels at our Encino headquarters. After many months of delay, the system was finally activated December 3rd, 2019. Solar power is now coursing through all of our Encino facilitates – the Holy Spirit Retreat Center, the Upper House, the SSS Administration Offices, the Villa, the Hermitage, and the Lower House are all plugged into the solar system. We are delighted to learn that our system is among the largest in California. We look forward to greatly reducing our carbon footprint on Mother Earth, and to seeing significant reductions in our utility costs in the coming months. We are grateful to the many donors and benefactors who contributed generously to the costs of purchasing and installing our new solar system.
